I have not been here for a while - my own mother died last December and I couldn't face these boards.

I am absolutely shocked to hear that Freddie Garriety has died.  I never heard anything about it and yet in his day, he was famous all over the world and loved by millions.

R.I.P. Freddie.  You had a lovely voice and you used to make my mother laugh.
