Covid: How a £20 gadget could save lives - BBC News
Your oxygen saturation level varies depending upon what you're doing and now they're advising people with a level of 93-94% to speak to their GP and if the level drops below 92% to go to A & E or call an ambulance?
I've been checking my oxygen saturation for a long time and it's up and down all day. It can be 91% one moment but a few minutes later it's 95%. The highest mine's been is 97%. That's a resting rate indoors. After activity the level rises. It's 95% right now.
Health staff I've spoken to say my levels are OK so will the above news item not amount to scaremongering? Won't it lead to "panic" calls for no reason?
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.
