The point about masks, lambsy, is that they help to protect other people from droplets resulting from you coughing, sneezing, talking and breathing over them, more than for your protection.

You say elsewhere that people should stay away from you. Well how are they going to be sure that you haven't breathed, coughed etc on an item in a supermarket.?

I think it is quite understandable that many people think that those who won't wear a mask because they don't like to be told what to do, are selfish. What is the big deal about wearing a mask in a shop or supermarket? Its just a few minutes that can help to protect those around you.

Neither do I have patience with those who think it is a world conspiracy to microchip us via a vaccine, and become evangelical about it. Not saying that anyone on here is doing that but I am aware of local people who spout utter nonsense to anyone they can get to listen. The same people use smartphones that 'know' exactly where they are and gather information about them but they don't seem bothered about that.

Its funny how the conspiracy theorists and the anti-maskers change their view when they get really sick with covid. Plenty of examples of them to be found on the net.

Just because they don't happen to know anyone who has died yet, doesn't mean that it isn't a very serious virus for those whose immune systems react poorly or badly to it.
All that we are is what we have thought.
