High prices for pups always make me suspect someone is trying to make a fast buck. If prices are higher at the moment, and I don't know how they compare, maybe it's because people are trying to raise money they have lost out on through not being able to work as normal. A high price doesn't guarantee that a pup is in good health, neither does it guarantee that it will go to a good home. Our own dog was given to us by someone who paid a few hundred for a cute ball of fluff and didn't provide the good home he deserved. Luckily she gave him to the right family.
