More thorough clearing of the towns and cities drainage systems wouldn't go amis either. Every where I walk the street drains are all block up and water flows into the dips into streets etc. Flooding isn't just a problem along river ways and surrounding areas. In my opinion it is a clear mismanagement of water as a whole.
