I'm sorry to hear Al about your neighbour.
My mum has Vascular Dementia, started about 1 and a half year ago, she is not that far gone yet, but as it is more unpredictable then Alzheimer's (it's very erratic), it can be confusing for the people around. Some days they seem OK and other days they are totally confused. Slowly they also end up forgetting everything, but in the beginning a lot of people don't really notice and just put things down to old age.
It is very sad to witness.
I loved to go and see my mum in Holland, now I dread going....................................![]()
It's sad to say, but I hope she dies soon before she stops recognising me.
