Linda Brown, who was at the centre of the 1950s court battle that led to the desegregation of US schools, has died,

She was a bright kid who wanted to go to Her local school, which was recognised as, one of a very high standard,  But White only,

The local school board claimed, as there was at least 4 other schools quite close, She could go to any of them, her case at the Supreme Court, closed the last loophole, being used to keep segregated schooling.
