Who, apart from their families, will miss the 22 murdered in Manchester today - their lives will never be fulfilled and we'll never know if there could have been an actor, a scientist, a politician, or an important figure in any other field amongst them.

I was reading about Roger Moore when he was a Unicef ambassador in Ghana without any press or cameras around he was actually digging latrines for the village he was in,so probaly a better man than most realised,he also said this about hunting:
'Sport' hunting is a sickness, a perversion and a danger and should be recognised as such. People who get their 'amusement' from hunting and killing defenceless animals can only be suffering from a mental disorder. In a world with boundless opportunities for amusement, it's detestable that anyone would choose to get thrills from killing others who ask for nothing from life but the chance to remain alive"
We are many,They are few

GNU a sort of Computer age R.I.P. - i.e. Remembered in Perpetuity
A machine driven Semaphore network, featured in TPs book Going Postal, a Dead workers name was put into the system and it just went around it for ever.
- G: send the message on
- N: do not log the message
- U: turn the message around at the end of the line and send it back again
"A man is not dead while his name is still spoken." - Going Postal, Chapter 4 prologue
--------------------
When Pratchett died, computer users around the World put 'GNU TERRY PRATCHETT' into the HTTP headers, of web sites etc, all over the Web. As it's a benign bit of code, it is just ignored and copied endlessly.
Keeping the legacy of Sir Terry Pratchett alive forever.
For as long as his name is still passed along the Clacks,
Death can't have him.
He was not the first person this was done for, Rob Wilkins his PA said Terry had heard rumours of it, being used by programmers and he included the same sort of thing in His book.
GNU has spread and you now see it often online when someone dies
I also like it because in Ancient Egyptian beliefs, You only survived in the afterlife as long as Your name is spoken.
