I thought it was an excellent post Evo. Quite reasonable to suggest what he did and much of it fully justifiable.The EU has many faults already aired on here,there were also elements which were soundly based, no reason to deny the latter.  What is also true is that many, myself included, blame the EU for all our immigration problems yet in reality Polish people for example are not duty bound to stay here, if the economy were less attractive against say that of Portugal or Spain they would no doubt pursue options there and enjoy the climate as well.

None of this waters down the need to move forward but another element I agree with JB on is that once we do need more workers, is somone gonna get the growing number of freeloading game playing teens and twenties to accept their responsibilities and what happens to them when mummy and daddy pass away?
