Astro......Yes, she works on the other side of the channel, checking the lorries for clandestines ( as they call them ). I haven't spoken to her since a few days before the referendum, so I don't know her thoughts on it all.  I did hear today, that the Mayor of Calais wants the agreement between France & England, regarding the borders & checking for immigrants, cancelled and She says they will not make any efforts to stop them crossing any more. However, She's a belligerent & awkward *** and her powers don't give her that kind of authority.  She doesn't control the police there and the agreement was made at government level, outside the jurisdiction of the EU. The French foreign minister said today, that he has no intention of cancelling the agreement.  Nothing can be taken as gospel though.......words are cheap and life's all about knowing who your REAL friends are.
