The author of the petition, apparently (according to the Daily Express so who knows) a vote Leave banker, left his petition to change the law a bit late eh?!

He must have been worried that remain would win by a small margin, but ironically, I guess it is only been signed by remainers since the results, plus the leavers who woke up yesterday regretting their vote and frantically googling to find out about what the EU is and what it does!

And there's another petition for a second reerendum to allow 16-17 year olds to vote.

I mentioned on another thread about how depressing it was around where I live where so many youngsters had said that they couldn't be bothered to vote.  Last night outside the pub one of them was shouting and swearing about how he wouldn't be able to travel to Europe and we were all facists, adding that he was going to go off to Syria and join ISIS, or take lots of drugs and kill himself ( a confused and troubled young man).

His 2 friends sitting next to him said they hadn't voted because they got too drunk the night before and were too hung over to walk 100m to the Polling Station!  No sympathy there, it was open for 15 hours!
