As you know, from our chats elsewhere, Wales instills a feeling in me; that isn't really logical, or explainable to many.  With grandfathers who were both miners ( the old fashioned type.........on their knees with a pick ) and parents born and bred in the Rhondda ( among the slag heaps ), I haven't been back for a few years. You'd think that once somebody had dragged themselves out of that kind of hard life, they would never look back.  However, EVERY time I go back; I feel I'm home and the Welsh National Anthem is the greatest piece of music EVER. I guess many Scots, Irish and dare I say English, have the same feeling; although I think it's a " Celt " thing.  I've travelled far and wide and to every corner of these Islands of ours, I love the differences in traditions, lifestyles and scenery, which makes visiting these various places different and fun.............but when I look at this Planet from space, I see the differences pale into insignificance, as we're ALL trapped together; on this pin prick in space. The answers will come from there and from us, as there is nowhere else it CAN come from.............undoubtedly long after I'm deep in the earth.........hopefully on a Mountain Top........somewhere in Wales.
