I never once gave my late father a Father's Day card - I don't think they were around then, but he was delighted that my daughter always gave me one.  "To the best Dad in the world - I love you."  She means it, too.  Always with a kiss and a cuddle.  

Awe, getting me feeling all sentimental now.

"When's Mother's Day?"  She once asked, aged twelve.

"Nine months later."  I replied.  She groaned, rolling her eyes.
