I'm well aware that you have voiced an opinion to remain in the EU, opposite to mine.........but I don't have a problem with that.  In fact I don't have a problem with all but one, who has an opposite opinion to mine. It's not the difference of opinion, that's the problem, it's the pomposity and arrogance, that comes through, that's the problem.  It's people that not only have an opinion, on just about everything, but actually come across as being the sort of people; who would look over the shoulder of a brain surgeon, in an operating theatre and tell him what he's doing right or wrong. On here, I just curtail conversations with such people.........it's just as well I don't meet them in real life, but then I don't mix with people like that. That aside, I don't think people have any idea just how divisive this referendum is going to be. Governments come and go and if you didn't vote for one, you just have to go with the flow for 5 years.  This vote, will continue to give more powers to unelected, faceless, bureaucrats, from other countries, for a lifetime.  Call me suspicious, cynical, distrustful, whatever, but I've seen too much of life, the world and people; not to be able to smell out an agenda and a coming storm. For instance, they are saying that it will be " decades " yes that's the word they used " decades ", until Turkey meets the criteria to be accepted into the EU.  You watch, if we vote to stay in the EU; Turkey will be accepted within 6 to 7 years; along with the other impoverished countries that want to join. As for the boards being quiet, I've only been back on here for 5 months or so and people have started several threads; stating how quiet it has been for quite a while and how it's not like the old days..........so maybe it's either some people on here, who have never left, that's the problem; or it's the puritanical, childish way the boards are run.
