I am a very matter of fact sort of person.

So when I hear that we have a huge national debt and America has a huge debt it makes me wonder where the money came from and to whom it is owed?

How can you be the richest country on the planet and have a huge debt?

Surely the people you owe it to are the richest.

A bit naive undoubtedly but  debts are owed to someone - are they not?
