Quick update on the progress of Ospreys at the Loch of the Lowes, All three eggs have hatched and the parents doing really well looking after them despite many challenges.

Meanwhile and to demonstrate how precarious things can be, two chicks from a clutch of three in Cumbria have been predated by Magpies, despite the power and presence of two large raptors the Magpies managed to fool them into dropping their guard.
At the rate they are going Magpies will take every other living bird, that's what happens when natural order is compromised.
