You could change the rules Archie? (as that naughty harry is rebelling!  )

Instead of ending in a vowel and a consonant, the word would just have to have two last letters that could begin a new word, so you could use endings like ch, th, xy etc.  That would give more scope.

I there is no possible word starting with the last two letters the poster who left the word can have a slap!
