Lately, the argument / debate about whether to stay in or come out ( according to the TV / Media ) seems to be based on who you " Trust ".........the " In " group or the " Out " group.  Considering it's a well know fact, that you can always tell when a Politician is lying.........their Lips move......that redundant option isn't going to help anybody.  So, it brings us down to logic / gut feeling / belief / experience etc. etc. Please don't bend my Ear, if the figures are out by one or two.......here or there; because it's the wider point I'm trying to get across.  If there are 27 ( or so ) Countries in the EU and double / Treble or quadruple  that amount, in the rest of the World, why is a trade liaison with the EU the only option........there's loads of other countries out there that we can trade with. In fact, while our growth is so modest and that of the rest of the EU, is so abysmal; all the excepted emerging economies ( whose growth figures are so envied ) are NOT part of the EU.......so why can't we trade with them.  I fully appreciate that many countries haven't got anything to offer ( that's why most of their people want to come here ) but what about the USA, China, Brazil, India, Australia, New Zealand and many more.  As most of the " Tat " we buy here comes from China anyway, why do we need the EU to negotiate that deal, on our behalf, I think we could manage that by ourselves.........we've got them building our future Nuclear Power Stations anyway........we did that bit of dealing without any help.  Think logically.......we are being corralled, guided ( like a blind Man ), coerced, by people with their own motives ( self gratifying as well ) into doing something, which we are being told is for our own good.  I suspect similar to all those Catholic Priest, who told the Children; as they were abusing them......" This is for your own good ".......and if you don't do what I say; you'll go to Hell.  Come on, we've heard it all before; even if it's a variation of a theme, it's being played on the same old Violin. The two biggest Wars in history, were started by the same Country and in Europe.  Easter European countries are not adverse to a bit of genocide, well proven in history and if you give somebody earning £50 a week, a green light to go to another country to earn £300 a week..........well what do you think will happen.  So all this " Tosh " about the EU keeping all it's members together and avoiding conflicts..........that's fine as long as they're all getting what they want.  See what happens if THAT changes.
