Last week was having a cigarette at the entrance to the shopping mall at Edmonton Green just outside the household brand name bakery which was on the verge of closing for the day

The various goods displayed in the window area were being cleared by tipping the contents haphazardly into large trays

In excess of 40 items were involved--cupcakes/pastries/doughnuts/tarts etc

These were obviously being scrapped--surely they could have been donated to a worthy cause ??
