I believe part of the test is now done on computers?.

 

If so this is where a lot of 0lder drivers might fail.

 

There are still test centres for doing the theory test.

 

I doubt they would make it compulsory to do it online.

 

 

All that we are is what we have thought.

In #80 above I was more concerned questions about with the practical test.

All a matter of who you believe - a guy who was a driving examiner for less than a year or the DVSA - interesting to note that no other examiners, current or ex, have come forward to back up his claim.

 

With regards to 'concerns over the practical test' then in regards to the over 70s the major cause for concern is diminishing mental acuity, reaction times and failing eyesight - none of which require a practical test to measure.
