This is very true.^^^

 

A good example is what transpired after Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974 and took control of the northern part of the island.

 

All the Mosques that are in the southern part of the island the part that is still under the Greek Cypriots [Greek Orthodox Christians]have never been touched, infact the Cypriots maintain and have people guarding these Mosques so nothing happens to them.

 

But in the northern part the churches some which date back to the beginnings of Christianity have all been desecrated, looted and all the religious icons and artifacts sold by the Turks.

 

They removed all the crosses from the top of the churches and use them  to stable cows and goats. 

 

Turkey incidentally is considered a moderate Muslim country by the Arab countries.
