You'll notice ( maybe you won't ) that other than early on in his thread, I haven't made any more comments ( posts ) as to the way it has developed.........mainly because I can't be ******. THAT'S what turns people off and makes them drift away and not even bother to look back.  This place is simply NOT like real life......the REAL World out there.......it's contrived, controlled.  Normal conversations are just spontaneous, people say what they feel / believe etc. etc. and humour ( sometimes, in REAL life, quite inappropriate humour may I add ) is simple injected into the conversation..........THAT'S LIFE !!  I have hardly ever known a conversation to go completely off topic and stay there, that's just not the way things happen; it may deviate, but it does return to the original.  Imagine having a natural conversation with Family / Friends or just a group of acquaintances and EVERY time it drifted off at a tangent, somebody kept saying "excuse me, can we keep this on topic"...........they'd end up talking to themselves as far as I'm concerned and I'd sure as hell make sure I didn't end up involved in a conversation with them again in a hurry. Do you want a natural free flowing "Chat" board, or do you want some version of "Stepford Wives" with the REAL world remaining outside the Goldfish bowl that you're swimming in.
