I'm trying to get on a new page, at the top of this one, is the Dog getting into cage and covering itself up.
My daughters French mastiff died 2 weeks ago and it had a cage just like that one
Only 5, a gentle giant, She had lymphoma

That's odd McB, looks like your pages aren't collating properly. Or it could be mine. To me it's a new one.
Sorry about your daughter's dog, mate. Five is no age at all. Almost a puppy. Upsetting for the family, because the dog was part of it. Maybe she should get another one. Not the same I know, but it will help in some way to ease the loss.

Sorry about your daughter's dog AL..................................... It's always upsetting no matter what age they are, but this is very young. ![]()
The monkey is determined to stay even though I took it off my bucket pics.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's dog, Al
Big dogs have short life-spans but that is no time at all. ![]()
Lost mine (in my avatar) not that long ago but she was nearly 16 and had a long happy and pain-free life, and was well past the average lifespan.

I'm near the bottom of the page Harry, you didn't need to do that
EMBs it depends on how many posts per page, you've set, in your settings
I will post a Meme, in the other place, that can't go here

I've left mine the way that eBay set them, McB. I've learned from past experience not to fiddle or touch things. (20 messages per page - 30 threads per main board).
Anyway..................

Hi Harry
Yes, I'm OK thanks and no she didn't suffer at all - it was sudden and quick.
I heard her cry in the hall and she had collapsed so I lifted her onto her dog bed. She was breathing very heavy but didn't seem frightened, and I stroked her until her breathing slowed and then stopped. She was gone in about 20 minutes.
That was so much easier for me not having to make the vet decision like I have had to before and I think a good end for her too.
I miss her of course as she was my constant companion, but have happy memories of her and the muddy times we had on the marshes.
I've just said no to a friend's springador puppy. I'm not ready for another dog yet - need a gap I think. But I may get one (another springer or a springador) in a few months or several months time - if the right one shows up.

Indeed a better end than having to put her down at the vets Suzie. It's added distress for the pet and its owner.
I understand that you have to grieve first. You had her a very long time. Not something you replace quickly...................
Thinking of you................![]()

Yes, sorry to hear about your old pal, Suzie. I know how you doted on her, so you will very saddened by your loss. Good idea to get another one though, when the time is right. Apart from the company it gives you living alone, you have no excuse for not getting out and about. I know they can be a tie at times, but that didn't seem to bother you. You go for it.
