I wonder if the police conducted an intensive search for his braincell Smiley Frustrated

Is it different from towing a caravan, behind a car? The caravan is only joined onto the car by a small link, which could easily break.

 

You don't tow a caravan with a bit of blue strap.

Big difference - a caravan can pivot on the link.  How can that combination with the van turn a corner without pulling the two apart?

And if you read the link you will see he wasn't driving the grey car that the van was strapped to, he was towing the two of them with another car and had no lights on.

The Gloucester debacle wouldn't have raised an eyebrow in some quarters.
