I agree. Neither are stupid. Cats go where they are best off...they pick their owners, really. They are quite capable of packing their wee suitcases and moving on if they feel their needs are not met. But they are self orientated. Dogs are more dependent and will take whatever is meted out, but given the chance, they are capable of being assets in a community...as police or forces dogs, or independent aid dogs
