With you there, Algas. The number of (very) expensive low energy, "cost efficient" lightbulbs I have bought over the last few years, which have given up the ghost way before their due time is unbelievable, and something about which I have complained bitterly, for all this time!

Bulbs which claim to last for five years - then stop working after one year. Who keeps all their bulb packaging and receipts? You'd need a separate filing cabinet. How else can you prove that your bulb has not performed as promised?
