According to Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney died in 1966. Let another conspiracy theory begin.

I've never heard anything so preposterous. So we are to believe that the instant McCartney 'died', suddenly, as if by magic, his doppelganger appeared ? If those two images are supposed to convince us, then all I can say is that if they are a couple of different people, then McCartney has an identical twin. And all this happened in the full glare of the Beatles popularity did it ?. What a crock of garbage.
I've always thought that Starr was not quite right in the head, and this outburst confirms it. He was a pretty mediocre drummer too.

I think Ringo may have been having a 'smoke'. The real McCartney is still with us ~ even though his voice appeared to have snuffed it about twenty years ago. Mind you, if was a bit iffy before that.

According to Wikipedia, it's been around for some time.
In September 1969, American college students published articles claiming that clues to McCartney's supposed death could be found among the lyrics and artwork of the Beatles' recordings.

The only Paul McCartney listed in the death index around that time is in March 1965, and that is a baby born the same year in West Yorkshire.

I've never heard the rumour either. I'd bet my last penny that those two pictures are the same person although the one on the right looks about 10 years older. Every feature of those two faces is not just alike , but identical, even down to the shape of the nostrils. No two different people are that identical, except twins.

What a load of old cods... ![]()
Ringo is seriously weird lol. I remember a while back he wanted his fans to stop sending him mail because he didn't want to reply anymore... and was quite firm that he would never reply to any fan mail ever again.

On radio Newcastle yesterday they said none of it's true.
Ringo wasn't interviewed, and it's a fake news site.
These seem to bear that out.

There really are some gullible people ![]()
As there is no such publication as the Hollywood Inquirer I would think that is a pretty good indication that Ringo Starr wasn't interviewed by them!
