The do gooders way isn't working is it! Far from it as another poster said they let them out again & more have been killed ,& in theory they were understood & one suspects intensely otherwise they wouldn't have been set free, so your statement about the victims fall flat on that score.
You also say you are uneasy about Capital punishment , however you are happy to take the chance of someone being released on the off chance they may have been reformed, so are you not uneasy that they may murder again.?.
