A very thought provoking scripture from the Bible was read today.

perhaps read 95 and 96 as well if you have a bible. I Find them very comforting and something worth taking notice of in life today. xx

Some think, including many Muslims, that the prophet Muhammad (the messenger for The Quran) was engaged to a girl by the name of Aisha (sometimes spelt: Ayesha) when she was 6, and married her when she was 9 years old and he was about 50.

The marriage story in question is based on the reports by various companions of the prophet Muhammad, as recorded by others from later generations.

But..... In these reported sayings, there are discrepancies and contradictions regarding what her age was at the time of marriage.

But don't you find all sorts of differences in these ancient scripts?

They've all been hacked about over the centuries, bits added, bits taken away to suit whoever was "in charge" of the writing and recording.

Oh CD, I would hazard a guess, and say that we are as one as to what we both really think about this particular subject.

I'd go so far as the say that all these old scripts had a basis in fact, the fact being that the people now at the core of such things lived and walked the Planet but all of the things atributed to them were of their thoughts and of Earthly origin.

I dunno.......would you Adam & Eve it.
