I'm not aware of any cure for Ebola although I'm sure scientists are working at it.
There are claims of various cures all over the internet, such as soy products, caffeine, a female hormone, an African tree seed, large doses of Vit C etc. , but who knows.
I am sceptical about claims put forward by companies selling alternative medicines and food supplements– plenty of them are scams.
e.g. of ‘cures’:
1) http://www.naturecures.co.uk/herbcureslist.htm#Bitter_Kola
Bitter Kola (Garcinia kola)
“Is a medium sized tree that is common to central Africa. Its seeds are used as medicine throughout the area and can cure Ebola and has anti-cancer properties and works against many viruses, including the flu. Unfortunately this tree is a rare species which is on the endangered species list so acquiring the seeds may be nigh on impossible.”
That makes no sense – full of contradictions.
2) http://www.infowars.com/what-theyre-not-telling-you-4-natural-ways-to-fight-ebola/
3) Big doses of Vitamin C
http://www.naturalhealth365.com/natural_cures/ebola-virus-thomas-levy-1095.html
This company (which claims ‘scientific solutions + proven results’) recommends 1 to 5 g of Vitamin C a day.
1gram or more would give people diarrhoea - hardly something to recommend for people who are either ill or healthy.
And this statement seems highly irresponsible to me:
“You have the tools to prevent a virus like Ebola from ever setting up shop in your body. And if your prevention should fall short, resolution and cure is a simple process”
Oh really ....
