The Greeks had the best idea with their Gods - each having numerous personality traits, some spiteful, some loving, some vengeful etc. . . . and they fought amongst themselves!

 


A read of the Bible would indicate the reverse was definitely the case, obey or be destroyed.

 

There is good reason to think the Hebrew god did start out to be one of a family, other members being discarded for various reasons.
