BAck in the 75 I worked for a firm off accountants in London as an office junior. One of my jobs was to go to the partners London Club to pick up buffets when they were entertaining big clients. Used to go into the kitchens to pick the stuff up and there were cockroaches everywhere... floor,  prep areas, and once crawling over the buffet I was going to collect.
People in the office always wondered why I never tucked into the leftovers that were brought down to us minions after the clients had left!
