I am sending this email to urge the British Police, and all relevant authorities, to call off the circus surrounding the parents of cancer patient Ashya King, and let them free immediately. These parents want the best for their son, they want nothing more than to offer him the best possible chance of a normal life and had to take drastic measures as, it would appear, that the NHS would not allow them to seek the treatment of their choice for their young son. It is sad to see these ordinary loving parents being accused of neglect - for wanting what's best for their own child! I thought in the UK it was legal to seek private healthcare if you were willing to pay for it and do not see why a consultant with absolutely no blood or legal ties to this child or his family should be able to demand a particular course and disregard the parents wishes. I urge you to find it in your heart to release these parents and let them be with their child at this terrible time and to allow the parents to seek whatever medical treatment they see fit for their sons recovery.
