She told ITV News Central that she didn't agree with their decision to remove him from hospital, but certainly supports the family in terms of their belief in proton therapy. Her son was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in 2008 and underwent proton therapy in Florida when British doctors told the family it was not available on the NHS. Ros says it saved her son's life and he wouldn't be here now if it weren't for the pioneering treatment.
