My Grandson ( two & a half ) & My Granddaughter ( 5 ) Jump on Me and beat me up ( friendly of course ) We wrestle around on the floor, I chase them around ( putting on My best monster voice ) and they run squealing in different directions all around the House. My Granddaughter asks me questions and I give her answers, honestly and truthfully. I don't teach them about the Koran, or Muslim fundamentalism, or about the Christian crusades...............in fact religion doesn't crop up in our conversations at all. God may pop up now and again, as in "Who is He"......."Where is he"........"why can't we see him" etc. etc. That's a more difficult one to answer, but I do my best. Whatever religion they adopt, they'll adopt it in their own good time and undoubtedly after many years of reasoning things out, looking at things and coming to their own conclusions.........NOT because they've been taught it ( probably with some degree of bias involved ,because of where they are at the time ). What the Hell happened to just plain old growing up, being a Kid, having Fun and learning not to punch, kick, scratch, bite etc.etc.................but just play nice.
