But you didn't mind not being here 150 yrs before you were born, so why should you mind not being here after you have gone?
The point is ... genes. If you have passed them on, or you have brothers or sister who have, a teensy bit of you will continue to exist down the generations. You are here because all your direct ancestors managed to pass their genes on before expiring. There's no other point than that.
