I said little different because both are based on the idea that men need to be protected from their inability to resist the lure of the evil temptress who cannot help herself from being tempting and also to protect men from losing their possession to other men who would be attracted to it.

 

The historical idea that women are somehow inferior and can be controlled by men is ever present and should be fought wherever it rears its ugly head.

 

If women should cover their heads in church, why not men also?

 

Oh dear I forgot, but then I am an atheist so I guess the following is meaningless where I'm concerned.

 

1 Corinthians 11:7
A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
