I know the point of this thread was so you could mention your favourite 'S' word, Arfur LOL but going off topic for a second to the actual content of that link about the £5 note being left in the eggs, has anyone else been hearing a lot about this kind of stuff recently?

I read an article the other day in which Davina McCall was saying that sometimes she just randomly pays the toll charge for the car behind her or she pays for someone else's meal in a McDonalds drive through.,,,how bizarre?

It doesn't have to be financial kindnesses either, some people are just leaving inspirational notes for others to find on public transport or in shops and restaurants etc.

I've never done it myself, but I must admit, I think it's quite sweet TBH
