Well, yes, this is so! But from my own humble viewpoint as an American out here on the now fresh frozen West Coast, it only gets worse. Take our recent group of presidents! Please!! (drumroll. cudos to Henny Youngman, yes, yes, I know all of that, but please take them anyway - we don't need them, honestly!) Anyway, speaking in a strictly non-partisan and harmless political veign, it occurs to me that our recent crop of presidential timber is suffering from dry rot, or fungus, or something. HOWEVER, they did act in a politically correct manner. For instance:
-- Absolute proof that the "mentally challenged" could reach the highest offices in our land. What they did oncer they arrived there is another story, but ever onward.
-- Proof of the old psychological book titled "The Peter Principle." They (fill in whatever blanks you wish) reached their "Peter Point," fumbled, and wafted. Afterwards, it was just a mess.
