My religious education told me that God laboured six days to create the world and on the seventh day He rested. Since Sunday is regarded as the day of rest, that makes Sunday the end of the week. However I've met very religious people who maintain that Sunday is the most important day and therefore is the first day. I've also met very logical and technical people who say you can start a week at any time on any day that you like. Hope this clarifies things
