I am one of the few who will admit to watching "I'm A Celebrity" but I have not started this thread to discuss the show... rather more the type of reality celebs that are created by todays Television programmes.
They become role models to the young and impressionable, who now think that becoming famous is a valid career choice.
Take Joey Essex who has been in the Jungle.
Now... I have never ever watched TOWIE (thank goodness) but he takes denseness to a new level.
In the Jungle we discovered that:
1. He can't tell the time with a big hand and little hand, and thought those watches were just a fashion statement.
2. Can't tie shoelaces.
3. Makes up words, and thinks it's cool.
4.The First World War ended in 1979
5. Seriously doesn't know how to blow his nose... honest!! he was never taught.
6. Can't count - erm! or add up, or subtract.
7.Can't spell.
On the plus side he is really lovely, and will try to please everyone, but my pet dog is lovely and faithful, and tries to please too.
This is not a rant at sweet cute Joey, more at the Media who turn these vaccuous airheads into Celebrities. He is one lucky boy...
Because from what I have seen, he and others of his ilk, are virtually unemployable.
