I could have asked on the Techie's board but this isn't really their area of expertise.

As far as techie gadgets go, our #3 son is pretty well stocked up.

He has an iPad 3 with WI-FI and 3G, a 17" laptop (owned by his work but he gets 24/7 use of it) and a Windows desktop computer.

So, bearing that in mind, can you guys tell me why he would need an iPod Nano? Reason I ask is that the Dragon Lady wants to get him one for Christmas. The thing is, we're struggling to come up with a pressie for him that won't be stuck in a drawer until next year. So is an iPod Nano a good idea or should we stick to Plan "B" and go with a dressing gown? (He's 41)
