then all was bad decisions added to bad luck and timing ,jackie was in the car with him,you would think because of this alone the order to protect the limo would be paramount in jfk's mind (considering who he was and more to the point where he was) 

I was under the impression though that security for a US president did not rest on the presidents shoulders alone as they are the security and as such have a job to do regardless of wishes.
