Getting back to conspiracy theories - one of the most disturbing "theories", to me anyway, is the fact that Ruby and Oswald apparently knew each other quite well.  The theory, sometimes expounded by the ultra-right wing fringe (those charming people who go to Soldier of Fortune Gun Shows, wearing camouflage outfits over their huge beer bellies) is that Ruby was Oswald's "Control" and was actually assigned to "sanction" him should he be captured or compromised in any way.

For the sake if what is left of my remaining sanity (very little there, I'll admit) I most definitely do NOT believe that one.  But it would make a great movie thriller - probably has somewhere or another, the way things have been going.
