That's a very good but difficult question to answer . The animal instinct would be to run away from it, or to stay & give way to hysteria. Jackie I believe did both, the bodies defence to a massive terror shock like that can make you react in a strange way to an onlooker. My honest answer to your question, I really don't know& in Gods honest truth, I wouldn't want to be in that position to put it to the test.
