Ray Teret used to be a household name.

He was a DJ on Caroline North. I think at one time his "show" was the "Ugli Bug Ball" and he used that as one of his signature tunes too. He used to do "The Ray Teret Show" with lotsa requests. He used to be called "Ugly Ray Teret" and he had a boutique in Douglas on the I of M called the "Ugli Bug Booteek". I think he was on Signal Radio and also Picadilly and latterly on online radio so he's not an unknown?
