Seller tells me they have refunded an item that was lost but there is no refund showing on the order

Seller says item is refunded but no record of it in Ebay or at the bank

Refunds go back to source and time taken depends on method of payment used. A credit card can take 30 days.

Why has seller refunded? Did you open a case of some sort?
