Scam? Hd-movnow.com

First time purchase.  Completed payment details  as requested. Was surprised I saw a quick heading of £1.95 on site.  Thought this must be what ebay charges to buyer for service. On checking bank for payment to seller spotted the £1.95 had gone through to

hd-movnow.com, not ebay.

Why is ebay allowing this scam on the site at the payment stage?  Won't  be using ebay again.

eBay don't charge buyers for using the site, it sounds like you clicked on a pop up and managed to give that site your financial information.

Scan your device for malware and if you've given them your debit card number then I'd contact your bank in the morning.
