The only way round is to use the web browser and follow the links on the web site .

I have to use the web browser to access. The app is not needed and often comes with restrictions.

Browser still will work.

The only answer is now using the browser version for the country your account is linked to.

This is ridiculous, there has been no warning and overnight they have literally wiped out possibly millions of users, both buyers and sellers. 

How many transactions will buyers and sellers be unable to complete due to a total lack of thought from eBay management !!?

Somebody needs to be hauled over the coals for this lack of customer care.

Hi,if you manage to get this sorted please tell us, im facing the same issue. Iv used ebay via the app for many years and have no intention of using the website and faffing around like that.. If ebay choose to shut good customers out its their loss.

A Community Manger has posted this information a few days ago. see if this affects you:

The latest eBay app version is no longer compatible with android 9 and below. It actually requires OS android 10 and above. If you have another device with android 10 and above you can check the most recently updated eBay app version and see if you can view images.

If you are using OS android 10 and above and still have issues with viewing images on the app please let me know. State what version you use and type of device and I'll have it looked into further by tech.

Yep,  many affected and not happy some have just deleted the app and using the browser on their phones,  seems to be an option ?

I've never used the app, I understand it's infuriating for those that do,  but  my old laptop has served me well! 🤗
