Why have they done this, not everyone has the latest gadgets or devices, surely they must know this, why update something so  that it cannot be used by everyone, should have left it alone, if it ain't broke don't fix it

SGIN 10.1 Inch Tablet Android 12 and still not able to update app. Uninstalled and now cannot reinstall.

I have the same issue running Android 14 on Samsung Galaxy A52s and won't run on my device, update it says but Google store says app won't work on my device

I can’t use eBay anymore due to this update on any device I have, very annoying. What is strange is many people have complained and left bad reviews on the App Store but the ratings are all 4 or 5 stars, as if something has changed them

I think I may have a solution to this problem.

If you’re buying or selling on eBay, you will no doubt get emails from them containing a link to the item you’re buying or selling.

When you do get an email with the link to your item, click on the item link and it will take you to your item.

As the eBay page opens, you will see the annoying message, ‘Update Required’

DO NOT click ‘EXIT’ button with the ‘Update’ box, but simply go back to your email message and click the same item link and you should be taken to your eBay item minus the ‘Update Required’ message.

It’s not a permanent fix, but it should give you access to the app.
